Cedar Matyola began his study of flamenco guitar in 1966 with the
legendary Mario Escudero.
He has also studied with such illustrious guitarists as Diego de
Morón,
Juan del Gastor,
Pedro
Bacán, and
Agustin
Ríos Amaya.
He is considered a knowledgeable and sensitive accompanist of
flamenco cante and baile, and has
accompanied such flamenco legends as Joselero de Morón,
Anzonini del Puerto and Bernarda de Utrera.
He currently lives Morelia, Mexico, where he performs and
